Sarah is an AHPC-registered Senior Speech and Language Therapist and an AHPC-certified clinical supervisor with extensive paediatric experience across social-service and private-practice settings. She holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Flinders University and began her speech and language therapy career at Rainbow Centre in 2017.
Sarah supports children with a range of developmental, medical and genetic conditions. Her clinical work encompasses speech, language, social communication, augmentative and alternative communication, feeding and swallowing. She has a particular interest in supporting infants and young children with early-language, feeding and swallowing difficulties.
For the past year, Sarah has also worked in a multidisciplinary early-intervention preschool serving young children with developmental and special needs. This role has strengthened her experience working within preschool routines and collaborating with caregivers, educators and other professionals to support children’s communication and everyday participation.
Sarah tailors intervention to each child’s needs and family context, creating a safe and playful environment where children can participate comfortably and experience success. By equipping caregivers and educators with practical strategies, she helps children use their developing communication skills more confidently across home, school and community settings.
