Profile
Anuja holds a Diploma in Special Education from National Institute of Education, Singapore. She has experience working with atypical (Dyslexic, ADHD, Autism) and typical children from the years of 2-16 in a classroom, small group, as well as one-on-one setting (preschool, mainstream and an international school) in Singapore.
Anuja is excellent in her ability to manage and work with children with various challenges, using learning and behaviour interventions. In addition to being trained in Orton-Gillingham Approach (an instructional approach intended primarily for use with individuals who have difficulty with reading, spelling, and writing), Anuja is also trained in Learning Skills and Engagement for Underperforming Students by Jensen Learning Corporation, Auditory-Visual Interactive Decoding by Child Guidance Clinic, Singapore and ADHD and Related Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties by Ministry of Education, Singapore.
She attained certification as a Teletherapy Specialist. She is able to balance her skills and knowledge to make intervention both fun yet effective for the children. Anuja has a special interest in behavioural management and language and literacy development.
Anuja is an energetic and animated person who is passionate about what she does and believes in achieving session goals in a fun and interactive manner. She applies a holistic approach towards interventions and encourages parent support to maximise the children’s’ learning potential. Besides working with children, she spends her free time reading and exploring the outdoors.
